Cookies and similar technologies
This page completes the privacy policy. The short answer: today the site stores no cookies at all on your device.
The situation today
- Strictly necessary cookies: none. The calculators work without them.
- Audience measurement: none. We use neither Google Analytics nor Microsoft Clarity nor any other tool.
- Advertising cookies: none. The site shows no ads.
- Browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage): the calculators do not use it. Your figures are not even stored locally.
That is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to. The widget embedded on other sites behaves the same way and stores nothing either.
What about the link with my result?
After you change a field, the calculator writes the values into the page address so you can share the calculation. That is not a cookie: nothing stays on your device beyond ordinary browsing history, and the link only carries your figures if you copy it and send it yourself.
How to check for yourself
In Chrome, Edge or Firefox, open the developer tools (F12), go to the “Application” or “Storage” tab and choose “Cookies” for this domain. The list is empty. The “Network” tab will also show that the page contacts no analytics or advertising servers.
If this changes
If we ever add audience measurement, we will first update this page and the privacy policy, describing each cookie, its purpose and its lifetime. The site is set up so that tools requiring consent start only after you click “accept” in a banner where refusing is just as easy, and you can withdraw that choice at any time.
